Description

This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights. This course is designed to meet the requirements from the Resources and Infrastructure Industries training package, RII.
All personnel who have to work at any height should have the knowledge to make informed decisions on hazards, techniques and equipment. The learners will understand how to identify industry requirements, work procedures and instructions. Additionally, learners will be able to access and install height safety equipment safely, perform their heights work safely including cleaning up their work area when the tasks are completed.
This course is essential for people who are required to work at heights in the course of their employment.

Entry Requirements

Minimum 15 years of age, physically fit, ability to speak, read & write English.
Please note: This course may require participants to operate heavy equipment for the practical components of Training & Assessments. To ensure a high level of safety during the course, participants may be subjected to random Drug & Alcohol testing. Your acceptance of this is confirmed upon registering as a participant of this course.

Materials or Equipment Required

- Learning materials are provided.
- Please bring enclosed footwear, hard hat (if owned), weather suitable clothing and Lunch.
- Tea & Coffee Provided.
