Description

Intermediate rigging includes all the components for rigging work at the basic level, and also includes rigging of cranes, rigging of conveyors, rigging of dredges and excavators, rigging associated with tilt slabs, rigging associated with demolition work, and dual lifts for licensing purposes.

To be successful as a Intermediate rigger you will be able to plan the work, select and inspect equipment, set up task, erect structures and plant and dismantle structures and plant.

Entry Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age, physically fit, ability to speak, read & write English.

Must have a completed CPCCLRG3001A Licence to perform rigging basic level or holding a valid HRWL for basic rigging.

Please note: This course may require participants to operate heavy equipment for the practical components of Training & Assessments. To ensure a high level of safety during the course, participants may be subjected to random Drug & Alcohol testing. Your acceptance of this is confirmed upon registering as a participant of this course.

Materials or Equipment Required

- Learning materials are provided.
- Please bring enclosed footwear, 100 points of ID, hard hat (if owned), weather suitable clothing and Lunch.
- Tea & Coffee Provided.
