Description

Integral Skills Elevated Work Platform course (for under 11m reach) is designed for people who use Scissor Lifts & Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP's) that are not capable of reaching 11m.
This course is a Non High Risk Work License course.
During the course participants gain knowledge in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, EWP operation, emergency procedures, pre and post operational checks and how to identify safe operating parameters.
For operating EWP's with a boom length over 11 meters, a High Risk Work License is required (which can be found under our course list).

Purpose

Although Elevated Work Platforms under 11m do not require specific licensing requirements, section 19 of the NSW Work Health and Safety Act does require the Person Conducting Business or Undertaking (PCBU) to provide a Primary Duty of Care which includes the provision of information, training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all persons from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out.
